Helicopter Seychelles and Zil Air announced the new identity of their Commercial Joint Venture L’Air DeZil (Ltd).

The name L’Air DeZil combines elements of its Seychelles identity, encompassing local, French and English influences. Translated, the expression depicts “L’Air… the essence/fragrance DeZil… of the islands” representing the core characteristics of the destination and the new operation. The ID reflects pride and sophistication in the services we offer, and projects an elegant contemporary message.

The new brand ID will portray fluidity and harmony, a key component in our vision. It further symbolises our uncompromising commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and aesthetic innovation, infusing our ambitious forward planning for the successful growth of the operation in the years ahead.

The arrival of the twin-engine Agusta in July confirmed our commitment to deliver an enhanced broader range of services with emphasis on our entrenched ‘safety first’ policies. This new arrival is scheduled to enter the fleet at the end of August 2010

The servicing of all daylight operations is being undertaken by the Eurocopter EC120’s and as required to satisfy peak demand, a back-up Jet Ranger Bell 206 remains in service. Four pilots have so far completed their conversion training on the EC120’s and will commence operations immediately.
