D’Arros is situated 225 km Southwest of Mahe and some 45 km west of Desroches, and forms part of private estate with a lagoon of exceptional beauty and the Amirantes Group. D’Arros hosts a number of colonies of sea birds, a small number of giant land tortoises and is often visits by sea turtle during the nesting season. It also has an unpaved airstrip of 975 meter long.
